Dear Naseeruddin Shah,
We love you as an actor, but we’re just getting a little tired of your ‘intellectual means having an opinion about every one and every thing” narrative. Your recent dig at Rajesh Khanna sure touched the wrong nerve, and for me, you transformed into the good old Manorama, who we love to hate as Bollywood’s ‘you-just-can’t-impress-me’ saasu ma.
According to you Rajesh Khanna is a poor actor, Sholay is not ‘great’ enough, Salman shouldn’t dance at political events, Farhan Akhtar should’ve worked out more for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and what not!
What’s with the high handedness? You would’ve continued to top our list of ‘thinking’ actors just fine without calling other superstars mediocre. Well anyway, why cry over spilt milk, right? Instead, we’re laughing about it. Hope you’re too!
Mr Shah, you might have just replaced the legendary Manorama as Bollywood’s newest bitter old ‘man’. Congratulations!
