Internet Sensation Ranu Mondal’s B-Wood Debut in Himesh’s Next
Ranu Mondal will get a chance to sing in Himesh Reshammiya’s next film.
Singer-composer, and now actor, Himesh Reshammiya, is all set to give internet sensation Ranu Mondal a Bollywood break in his upcoming film Happy Hardy And Heer. Ranu Mondal became famous after a video of her singing the evergreen Lata Mangeshkar hit ‘Ek pyaar ka nagma hai’ went viral. Mondal will be singing the song ‘Teri Meri Kahani’ from Happy Hardy And Heer.
Himesh Reshammiya took to social media to share a video of Mondal and him in the studio, where Mondal is immersed in recording the song. He wrote, “Recorded teri meri kahani my new song from happy hardy and heer with the very talented ranu mondal who has a divine voice , all your our dreams can come true if we have the courage to peruse them, a positive attitude can really make dreams come true , thanks for all your love and support.”
Mondal will also be appearing on Superstar Singer and interacting with the kids and judges of the show, including Himesh himself.
"Salman (Khan) bhai's father Salim uncle once advised me that whenever in life I come across a talented person, I should never let that person go and keep him/her close to me. He advised me to help that person grow his/her talent," Himesh said.
He further added that, "Today, I met Ranuji and I feel that she is blessed with divinity. Her singing was mesmerising and I could not stop myself from offering her the best I could. She has a God's gift which needs to be shared with the world and by singing in my upcoming movie, Happy Hardy and Heer, I think I will help her voice reach everyone."
Happy Hardy And Heer will release in September.
