Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s Mere Rakshe Qamar has got a second life in Ajay Devgn-Emraan Hashmi’s Baadshaho. The beautiful rendition by his nephew Rahat Fateh Ali Khan strikes the right chord, supported amply by beautiful visuals. The video depicts a montage of Ileana D'Cruz and Ajay Devgn falling in love with each other as they go about their daily lives.

Check out the song here:

The music flows in beautifully with the enchanting landscape of Rajasthan. It is melodious and still holds the essence of the original track, which is quite rare in these days of remixes and heavy EDM. The song is a welcome change and might just revive the Sufi strains that have been missing from the Bollywood scene for quite sometime.

Baadshaho is a T-Series production starring Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta, Ileana D'Cruz, Vidyut Jammwal and Sanjay Mishra in pivotal roles.
