Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer MS Dhoni: The Untold Story is one of the most awaited films of the year. Naturally, the producers of the film aims at dubbing this Hindi film in various other Indian languages including Marathi to cash in on the popularity of cricket and MS Dhoni. However according to reports, the Chitrapat Karmachai Sena (CKS), which is the film affairs wing of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, has objected to to the film being dubbing in Marathi.

A Times of India report states that CKS chief, Amey Khopkar, believes that if the film is dubbed into Marathi, it will lead to unfair competition for regional films. He fears that if more and more Bollywood films are dubbed in Marathi, it will affect the market for regional films. Khopkar has apparently requested the producers of the MS Dhoni biopic to not dub the film.

There has been no reaction from the makers of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story on this request by the MNS so far.
