Here’s how Monali Thakur stomped on a troll who slut shamed her
Slut shaming anyone in the name of protecting bharatiya sabhyata is Not okay. Singer and reality TV celebrity Monali Thakur made this very clear by giving a fitting reply to a fan who was uncomfortable’ with her ‘short dress.’
The young and dynamic singing star, who is currently in the limelight for being part of Colors’ reality show Rising Stars is known to be an active Netizen.
Like routine, she had uploaded this ‘smexy’ picture of herself on Instagram.
That’s when an apparent fan of hers gave her a lecture on decent clothing that is warranted from an artist of her stature. What is even more amusing is that it apparently came form a female fan.
Monali, of course, didn't take it sitting down and gave it back to the troll, in her feisty style.
She also took to Twitter to address the issue of moral policing but later deleted the tweet after the matter went viral.
Instead, she wrote this:
While some have expressed that Monali was rather harsh in dealing with the troll, all we can say is you go girl!
We need more women like you out there to voice their opinion fearlessly and put these trolls in their rightful place.
