1. Pahlaj Nihalani Files Plea Against CBFC’s 20 Cuts in ‘Rangeela Raja’

Former Censor Board chief Pahlaj Nihalani has filed a plea in Bombay High Court against the CBFC after it reportedly suggested around 20 cuts in his upcoming movie Rangeela Raja, starring Govinda, reports news agency ANI.

Blasting the current censor chief Prasoon Joshi he told IANS, “This is nothing but personal vendetta. When I was the chairperson (at the CBFC) I left a lot of people angry and upset with me. Now when my film has been submitted for censoring, they are taking out their frustrations on me. But I won’t go down without a fight.”

2. Vidya, Taapsee and Sonakshi Join Akshay Kumar for ‘Mission Mangal’

Akshay Kumar is joining hands with R Balki again for Mission Mangal. The film will also star Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu and Sonakshi Sinha.

Akshay took to social media to share a picture with the cast with the message: “Proud and excited to bring the story of India’s Mars Mission, #MissionMangal to you. Coincidentally the mission was launched on this very date, 5th Nov. 2013. Meet the team and do share your best wishes for our shubh mangal journey. Shoot begins soon.”

3. Makers of ‘Kedarnath’ Release New Song ‘Namo Namo’ on Dhanteras

The makers of the Abhishek Kapoor directorial released a devotional song from the film sung by Amit Trivedi, unfolding against the picturesque undulating backdrop of Uttarakhand. With lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the song Namo Namointroduces Sushant Singh Rajput’s character as a Muslim pithu or porter conveying devotees to the Kedarnath shrine. It also gives us a glimpse of Sara Ali Khan.

4. ‘Badhaai Ho’ Box Office: Ayushmann Film Enters Rs 100-Cr Club

Badhaai Ho crosses Rs 100 crore. 

Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra’s Badhaai Ho has opened to rave reviews. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the film is a fun yet sensitive story around a late pregnancy and is off to a great start at the box office.

The film has now crossed the Rs 100 cr mark. The film earned Rs 45.06 crore over the extended weekend. It raked in Rs 51.35 crore by day five. The film is indeed having a phenomenal run.

5. I Hope Sussanne & Hrithik Roshan Get Back Together: Sanjay Khan

Bollywood veteran Sanjay Khan recently launched his autobiographical book The Best Mistakes Of My Life. “The book has extraordinary moments, and I have not spared anyone; I have written whole facts,” Khan told Hindustan Times, rousing the curiosity of movie buffs and the industry alike.

He even went on talk about how he feels about the disintegration of the marriage of his daughter Sussanne Khan and Hrithik Roshan, saying that divorce is a heartbreaking exercise and how he has never asked Sussanne why the couple parted ways. He also expressed his satisfaction with the fact that they are still good friends and that they have been able to counter the negative impact that divorce generally has on the offsprings. Khan attributes that to their combined efforts.
