Man Riding Two-Wheeler Dies After Colliding With Zareen Khan’s Car

According to reports, a man on a two-wheeler died after he met with an accident in Goa’s Anjuna on Wednesday. As per a tweet by ANI, the motorcycle had rammed into a vehicle owned by film actor Zareen Khan in Anjuna, and the man riding the bike died in the collision. It is not yet known if Zareen Khan was in the vehicle at the time of the accident or if any arrests have been made.

Ajay Devgn's 'Raid' Becomes His First Film to Release in China

After PK, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Hichki, releasing in China, it’s now Ajay Devgn’s Raid that will release in Chinese screens in 2019.

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid released in March, and has had a successful run at the Indian box office. Bhushan Kumar, head of T-Series, told DNA, “Raid has been one of the most loved films of this year. People have appreciated its content, which has resulted in good numbers at the BO. We had been in talks with the Chinese government to release it there. They had also expressed interest in showcasing our movie in their theatres.”

Ajay won the Best Foreign Actor Award for Raid at the Chinese Film Festival, so it’s no surprise that makers are planning a big release. Bhushan reveals, “We plan to release it in the first half of 2019 in China. The exact date is yet to be confirmed by our partners.”

Sonakshi Sinha Gets 'Junk' Instead of Headphones

Actress Sonakshi Sinha ordered a pair of headphones online and wasn't impressed as she ended up getting junk instead.

"Hey Amazon India! Look what I got instead of the Bose headphones I ordered! Properly packed and unopened box, looked legit... but only on the outside. Oh and your customer service doesn't even want to help, that's what makes it even worse," Sonakshi posted on social media.

She even posted a photograph of the box.

"Anybody want to buy a brand new shiny piece of junk for 18,000 bucks? (Yup, its a steal). Don't worry, I'm selling, not Amazon, so you'll get exactly what you're ordering," Sonakshi added with sarcasm, reports IANS.

We're Working on Second Season of 'Mirzapur': Farhan Akhtar

Producer Farhan Akthar is feeling happy as his last production venture "Mirzapur" has been appreciated by the audience. He has revealed that makers of the show have already started working for a second season of the show.

Farhan interacted with the media at the success party of "Mirzapur" along with Rasika Dugal, Elli AvRam, Pankaj Tripathi, Anangsha Biswas, Richa Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Ali Fazal on Wednesday in Mumbai.

"Mirzapur", backed by Excel Entertainment, revolves around drugs, guns and lawlessness. It also depicts gang rivalry and crime in the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh, reports IANS.

Farhan said: "I am feeling really happy. It's the second show which we have created with Amazon Prime Video. Our earlier collaboration 'Inside Edge' was a successful web series and now 'Mirzapur' is getting more success than that. So it is really nice thing and we are here to celebrate."

Marvel Studio has shared a new logo for the upcoming Avengers sequel Endgame. The logo comes on the heels of the first trailer released last week. The purple and gold scheme of the new logo has already sparked speculation, with fans claiming that it is connected to Thanos. Actor Emraan Hashmi, who is gearing up for his forthcoming release "Cheat India", has said every student and parent must watch it as it brings to the fore the irregularities present in our education system.

Emraan was interacting with the media during the promotion of the film on Wednesday here, when he said everyone should know what is "happening in our system. It is our plea as the makers of the film that, we bring about changes in our education system as soon as possible so that, we can have a progressive outlook."

"It is based on our faulty and fractured education system and we all have been affected by that, be it our parents or me, as I am parent of a child.

"In this education system, we emphasise a lot on rote learning which doesn't have any benefit in real and practical world.

"Apart from that our education system is being weakened by lot of middlemen, scamsters and fraudsters."

Change Must Begin Somewhere: Saloni Chopra on Sajid's IFTDA Suspension

Actress Saloni Chopra, who had accused Sajid Khan of inappropriate behaviour, is glad the change has begun with the Indian Film and Television Directors Association (IFTDA) suspending the filmmaker for a year.

In a Twitter post, Saloni lauded IFTDA's action, but at the same time hoped Sajid would at least apologise to the women whom he has misbehaved with.

In Delhi for the promotion of his upcoming show Kanpur Wale Khuranas, in which he again plays a female character in drag, Chauthi, he spoke about how he is comfortable essaying a character of the opposite sex.

Opening up about his performance at a Delhi wedding, where the guests were drunk, he said, “They were putting their hands on my chest, they were pinching my butt. I was molested.” He also revealed how his female colleague had to intervene to ensure his exit from the stage.

‘CID’ Maker BP Singh Is New FTII President

The creator of popular television show CID Brijendra Pal Singh and current Vice Chairman of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) has been appointed as the new President of the FTII Society and Chairman of Governing Council. He succeeds Anupam Kher who was appointed in 2017 and stepped down in October this year citing a “busy schedule”.
