I Expect a National Award For Shah Rukh After Fan: Maneesh Sharma

The film may not have made big money but the director says Shah Rukh is pleased with the response from critics.

Fan may have not made it to the Rs 100 Crore club, but filmmaker Maneesh Sharma is still optimistic about his SRK thriller. He told PTI that king Khan deserves an award from his performance in Fan next year.

Fan did get a thumbs up from the critics but audiences somehow chose to stay away. Shah Rukh Khan also seems to be happy with the film.

Shah Rukh is the happiest with the kind of response he is getting for his performance and the whole team is very happy as we think we have done something a little alternate, and getting appreciation for that is always way more assuring for any director, actor or producer.
