Netflix’s next Indian original series, Typewriter, is all set to premiere on 19 July, and the online streaming platform has just released an intriguing teaser of the show. Typewriter is a mystery thriller series directed by Badla & Kahaani director Sujoy Ghosh.

The series is a story about four wannabe ghost-hunters and their journey in unveiling the mystery of Bardez Villa. The teaser shows Purab Kohli as a police officer investigating multiple mysterious unnatural deaths tied together by a common thread.

While the teaser doesn’t give away much, the murder mystery seems to be set in Goa with a typewriter at the centre of it all.

Take a look.

Here’s the official synopsis.

When a new family moves into the haunted home, the crew finds it difficult to balance the demands of school and chores with the renewed urgency to solve the mystery. What follows is the story of how these 5 kids try to capture the ghost of Bardez Villa, all the while balancing school and staying out of trouble.

Apart from Purab, the series also stars Paulami Ghosh and Samir Kochar. The ghost hunters include Arna Sharma as Sam, Aaryansh Malviya as Nick, Milkail Gandhi as Gablu and Palash Kamble as Bunty.
