The trailer for Irrfan Khan’s Madaari is out, and as usual, the actor does not disappoint. From the looks of it, the film seems to promise action, emotion and of course power-packed performances.

Directed by Nishikant Kamat, the film revolves around a man avenging the abduction of his son, by kidnapping the Home Minister’s eight-year-old boy. While Khan plays the role of a father seeking justice for his son, Jimmy Shergill plays the officer in charge of the investigation. The film also seems to deal with several power structures, including the media, which plays its part in reporting the case. Did this reportage help or disrupt? We will have to find out on 10 June, in a theatre near us.
