1. Salman, Katrina, Akshay Kumar & Other Bollywood Artists Sued in US

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.

Superstar Salman Khan and a host of other Bollywood artists including Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha, Ranveer Singh and Prabhu Deva have been sued by an Indian-American promoter, which alleged that they refused to perform at a concert in the US despite having taken money from it.

The lawsuit, filed by Chicago-based Vibrant Media Group before a Northern District Court of Illinois, Eastern Division on 10 June, has been assigned to District Judge Sharon Johnson Coleman.

2. ‘Super 30’ Star Hrithik to Throw Party for Anand Kumar’s Students

Hrithik Roshan will play mathematician Anand Kumar in Super 30.

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan -- all set to play a mathematician in the much-awaited biopic Super 30 -- is planning to host a party for 26 students of Anand Kumar's Super 30 academy who cracked the JEE-Advanced 2018.

Hrithik said in a statement: “In the process of shooting for ‘Super 30’, I have got a fair understanding of how tough these exams are. Kudos to the students and their great mentor, Anand Kumar. The party is just a small way to meet and personally congratulate them. I wish them greater heights in life, in whatever they do.”

Alia Bhatt’s sister and Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan’s elder daughter Shaheen Bhatt penned a moving essay in Vogue, talking about her fight with depression in the wake of the shocking deaths of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain. While she had spoken about it earlier on social media, this is the first time Shaheen has recounted a very personal battle. “It could have just as easily been me ,” she wrote.

4. Netflix’s Sacred Games: Divine’s Track Nails the Maximum City Grit

Rapper, composer Divine has launched a brand new track Kaam 25 for the Netflix Original Series Sacred Games. Based on the book by Vikram Chandra, the eight-episode thriller traces the riveting trajectory of Sartaj Singh (Saif Ali Khan), a seasoned, police officer, and Anjali Mathur (Radhika Apte), an intelligence officer, to the heart of a cryptic web woven by the menacing criminal overlord, Ganesh Gaitonde.

5. ‘Captain Marvel’ To Be Scored by Female Composer

Captain Marvel is a female superhero (played by Brie Larson). 

Music composer Pinar Toprak is on board to work on superhero movie "Captain Marvel", scheduled to release in March 2019.

Toprak, who penned additional music for the DC film Justice League, is the first female composer to score a major comic-book movie, reports variety.com. Captain Marvel also happens to be about a female superhero (played by Brie Larson).
