As ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ goes off air after 5 long years, The Quint bids the show a crazy and fun farewell.
The popular TV soap Diya Aur Baati Hum aired its final episode on 11 September, leaving its fans quite disheartened. But The Quint got together with the show’s lead cast Anas Rashid (aka Sooraj) and Deepika Singh (aka Sandhya) for a fun filled farewell. We landed up on the sets of the show as one of the last few episodes were being filmed and played a fun quiz with Sooraj and Sandhya.
Diya Aur Baati Hum has completed a five year long run on national television and has a massive fan following among the general entertainment genre. Sooraj, Sandhya and Bhabho are household names and the show has consistently been one of the top money spinners for its host channel.
