‘Manikarnika’ Has the Best War Sequences I’ve Seen: Vidya Balan

Vidya Balan heaps praises on the Kangana Ranaut film.

Kangana Ranaut recently expressed her anger over Bollywood’s top actors not supporting her film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, and went on to say that they were ganging up against her. She even called Alia Bhatt ‘spineless’, and said that the industry should have seen the larger theme of the film and pushed it.

However there seems to be an exception as Vidya Balan heaped praises on the film. Vidya told Pinkvilla,

I watched ‘<i>Manikarnika’ </i>in the theatre and I was blown away by the amount of hard work that has gone into it. It’s there for everyone to see and the war sequences are among the best that I have seen in any Indian film. Congratulations to the entire team.

Kangana was also supposed to have a party to celebrate the success of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi but cancelled it in wake of the Kashmir terrorist attack.
