Television actors Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy have tied the knot in a destination wedding in Alwar, Rajasthan on Monday. The wedding took place in the presence of close friends and family. Though Gautam and Pankhuri didn’t post any pictures and tried to keep it a hush-hush affair, their fans flooded the social media with pictures from all the pre-wedding functions and of course, the D-day.
Gautam later took Twitter to announce the beginning of a new phase in his life with his lady love.

Gautam and Pankhuri fell in love on the sets of Sony TV’s show Suryaputra Karn, though the couple preferred to keep their relationship under covers. It was in 2017 that the news broke when Gautam proposed Pankhuri and she decided to say ‘I do’.
