After an extended stay in New York where she has been undergoing treatment for cancer, Sonali Bendre has returned to India. She was spotted at the Mumbai airport with husband Goldie Behl.

Sonali is back in town for a hiatus.

She also announced her return on social media.

She says in the emotional post that her “fight" is not over yet but looks forward to this "happy interval". She said,

And now I’m back to where my heart is. It’s a feeling I can’t describe in words but I’m going to try - it’s a joy to see my family and friends again, the excitement to do what I love and mainly the gratitude for the journey I’ve had up until this moment. The fight is not yet over but I’m happy and looking forward to this happy interval.
