You know SRK, the actor. Now meet SRK, the doodler - in fact a doodler whose single piece of work can fetch up to Rs 2 lakh.

You read that right. According to Mid-Day, a black-and-white doodle Shah Rukh Khan made during a 1997 Paris trip is going under the hammer at Osian’s The Greatest Indian Show On Earth 2. It features other Bollywood folk's paintings besides vintage film memorabilia, publicity material and arts as well.

Shah Rukh's idea of France is laid out in the illustration. Apart from the Eiffel Tower, there is the Bastille, the Concorde, Voltaire, French kissing, the French connection, and the works. You see King Kong rescuing a girl by climbing the Eiffel tower even as she shouts the favourite Bollywood dialogue, “Bhagwan ke liye mujhe chhod do”, while two stick figures of a couple flaunt the caption, “Tu Mera Hero No. 1”.

SRK signs off with the words, ‘In Paris, do as the Indians do’.

The rare sketch is more like a doodle-cum-drawing of Shah Rukh’s visit to Paris. It provides a unique insight into the mind of a cinematic superstar in the making. Though estimated conservatively between Rs 1.2 lakh and Rs 1.8 lakh, it is expected to sell for more.

The event will be held at a Bandra five-star in Mumbai on June 22.
