This Independence Day, Sara Ali Khan fans are in for a treat. Even before her debut film Simmba, where she stars opposite Ranveer Singh, hits the screens, she has garnered a large fan following. These ardent enthusiasts have been waiting with baited breath to follow her on social media.
The hashtag #WeWantSaraAliKhanOnSocialMedia was trending recently as fans expected her to join Twitter on her birthday - 12 August. If you’re a fan and are reading this, your prayers have been answered. Sara joined Instagram on 15 August.
She shared a pop art image of Rabindranath Tagore accompanied by the national anthem. Tagore happens to be her ancestor from her father, Saif Ali Khan’s side.
The 23-year-old is also set to appear in Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath.
