Michael Buble Announces Retirement From Music
Grammy Award-winning Canadian singer Michael Buble has announced his retirement from music after admitting he no longer has the desire for fame following his son's battle with cancer. Buble, who has won four Grammys and sold 75 million records, announced his retirement via an emotional 'final' interview, reports telegraph.co.uk.
He put his career on hold after finding out his five-year-old son Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer, two years ago. Noah, one of Buble's three children with wife of seven years, Argentinian model and actress Luisana Lopilato, is now in remission.
During an emotional "last interview", Buble opened up about the impact Noah's illness had on the couple. "My whole being's changed. My perception of life. I don't know if I can even get through this conversation without crying. And I've never lost control of my emotions in public," he told the Daily Mail's Weekend Magazine.
Richard Madden in Talks to Play James Bond
Game of Thrones fame star Richard Madden is in talks to essay the role of Agent 007 after actor Daniel Craig stepped down from the film. According to The Sun, Madden has impressed the creators of Bond with his performance in drama series Bodyguard and will replace Craig.
A source close to Barbara Dana Broccoli, producer for the Bond film series told IANS : "It's seriously looking like he (Madden) is going to get the job. ‘Not only is he on top of Barbara's list, but she is preparing to offer the role." Last month, Madden's father revealed that his son was eager to play Bond's character.
"I'm quite sure he does want that to be on his CV one day but he's not making a song and dance about it. Whether it's Bond or any big role, Richard has ideas about things he'd like to do. It's probably best whatever his desires or thoughts are to keep it to himself," Madden Sr added.
James Bond will return to cinemas for the 25th time and the film will be released in the UK on 14 February, 2020.
Mrunal Thakur to Play the News Anchor Shobhna, John Abraham's Wife in 'Batla House'
According to Mumbai Mirror, Love Sonia and Super 30 actor Mrunal Thakur will step into the shoes of John Abraham’s onscreen wife, Nandita, modelled on journalist Shobhna Yadav in Batla House.
Abraham will play DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav in the Nikkhil Advani directorial. “Sanjeev Kumar Yadav’s relationship with his wife Shobhna, a well-known news anchor in a Hindi news channel, is a significant part of the story so correct casting for this role was important. We were looking for someone who didn’t have a set image but at the same time was talented. Mrunal fit the bill,” the director said.
SRK Is Excited As Netflix’s ‘Bard of Blood’ Goes on Floors in Leh
As the shoot for Netflix series Bard of Blood got underway on Sunday, actor-producer and superstar Shah Rukh Khan said it is the most exciting stuff to come out of his production banner Red Chillies Entertainment.
Based on Bilal Siddiqui’s book The Bard Of Blood, the show is set against the backdrop of the Indian subcontinent. The multilingual series will tell the story of an expelled spy, Kabir Anand who is recalled from his new life as a Shakespeare professor in Panchgani to save his country and a long-lost love.

Ariana Grande, Pete Davidson Call Off Engagement
As per a report in TMZ, Grande and Davidson, who first met on the sets of Saturday Night Live, headed for Splitsville after 5 months of their engagement. Sources told the publication, "Ariana and Pete split this weekend, with both parties acknowledging that it simply was not the right time for their relationship to take off."
The couple's split comes after Grande has endured a difficult few weeks as she came to terms with the loss of former boyfriend Mac Miller, who died from an apparent drug overdose on 7 September.

'Namaste England', 'Badhaai Ho' Get a New Release Date
Namaste England, with Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Badhaai Ho will both release a day earlier than previously scheduled. The films will hit theatres on 18 October, according to a report by IANS.
Namaste England is a sequel to 2007 film Namaste London, and Badhaai Ho is a comedy about a middle-aged couple with grown-up kids, who find out they’re expecting another child.
