KJo Wishes His ‘Support System’ Gauri Khan on Her Birthday
Gauri Khan turns 49.
As celebrity and interior designer Gauri Khan turns 49 on 8 October, her close friend Karan Johar took to social media to pen a heartwarming message for her. Calling her a “silent support system” of his life and a “force”, he penned some sweet words.
On Tuesday, Karan Johar wrote, “Happy birthday to the strongest silent support system in my life...the most real person I know...beautiful within and beautiful always ....and one must never be fooled with her blank stare because she is ridiculously on point with her observations!”
He further added, “She makes me laugh with her manual of how to live a stress free life ( she knows what I am talking about) also am so proud with how she has created a solid professional zone for herself and is super successfully running a design enterprise...I love you so much Gauri! You don’t realise how much of a force you are in all our lives....shine on!! Happy birthday ....”
Gauri replied with, “Loving this post ..... love you too much ...”
Gauri married Shah Rukh Khan in 1991, after a six-year courtship. They have a son Aryan and a daughter Suhana. In 2013 they became parents of a third child, a son, named AbRam, who was born through a surrogate mother.
Recently, Gauri took to Instagram to share one of her looks from the 90s. Sharing a still of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol from the song ‘Jaati Hoon Main’ from the film Karan Arjun, she wrote “Can’t believe I designed this look in the 90s 😁 ... Those jeans, #legwarmer tee, bullet belt and a red shirt thrown over. The hand painted jeans were my favourite. #Gaurikhandesigns has come a long way! Major throwback.. @iamsrk @kajol”
