Janhvi Kapoor is all set to make her debut with Dhadak along with co-star Ishaan Khatter. While Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s elder daughter is getting a lot of encouragement from the film industry, public opinion has been divided about the film’s trailer.

In an interview to India Today, Janhvi opened up on feeling nervous about the film after some people said she can’t act after watching the trailer.

I went into a panic attack; [thinking] so what is my life all about then!

Janhvi admits she is a little more nervous about Dhadak and how people would react to her look in the film now.

But all of a sudden, now I’m a little more nervous because I am supposed to be good at this, right? This is what I’ve wanted to do. I want people to love me.  

When asked about what about her late mother she wants to imbibe, Janhvi said that Sridevi always advised her to be a good person first to be a good actor. “Because the camera is very smart. If you're not a good person, if you're fake, it shows. If your heart is not clean, it is visible.”
