Sridevi passed away in Dubai on 24 February this year. The popular actor who has worked in almost 300 films across Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages was born on 13 August. The late actor would have turned 55 this year.

Films Division, Information and Broadcasting Ministry in Delhi hosted a special screening of Sridevi’s films and Boney Kapoor got emotional as he paid tribute to his wife.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, Boney also spoke about how Arjun and Anshula have accepted Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor as their own.

My love story with Sridevi is an open book. Whatever matters of the heart that can be shared is all in the public domain. What is most close (about her) will remain in the heart. That’s my support system for life. And the way Arjun and Anshula have accepted Janhvi and Khushi... That has made me feel very relieved. My all four children are my strength.

“Today this vacuum, this void cannot be replaced but the good wishes and the goodwill that she has left behind is something that we can live with... She is with me, in my memories...with my children,” he said about Sridevi at the special event.
