Bond Villain Karin Dor Passes Away at 79 

The German actor stole the show in the 1967 James Bond movie ‘You Only Live Twice’.

Actor Karin Dor, who played antagonist Helga Brandt in the 1967 James Bond movie You Only Live Twice has died at the age of 79.

The actor passed away in a nursing home in Munich on November 6, her son told the Bild newspaper.

Dor also appeared in Alfred Hitchcock's missile crisis thriller Topaz.

She featured opposite Christopher Lee in The Invisible Dr Mabuse (1962) in the film, directed by her then-husband Harald Reinl. The real-life couple collaborated on more than a dozen movies in their career.

In her later years, Dor had veered towards German theatre and did minimal films. She also featured in American TV shows such as It Takes a Thief, Ironside and The F B I.

Dor's last performance was the 2015 German film Die abhandene Welt (The Misplaced World).
