Ranveer’s Family Planned a ‘Griha Pravesh’ Ceremony for Deepika

The couple is not done celebrating their wedding just yet!

After their high-profile wedding in Lake Como, Italy, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were greeted by a sea of fans at the airport in Mumbai. After wading through the crowd, the couple stopped for a photo-op at Ranveer’s residence.

But the couple is not done with the wedding traditions. As per a report in DNA, an elaborate griha pravesh ceremony was planned for Deepika as she came to Ranveer’s home for the first time after their wedding.

The Bhavnanis had organised a traditional griha pravesh for their bahu as per Sindhi customs. Ranveer’s family welcomed Deepika with an aarti and played a few customary games, too. She stayed at their residence last night. Today, they will head to her Prabhadevi home.

And it seems that Ranveer and Deepika are all set to move into DP’s Prabhadevi home after marriage. But the couple will continue celebrating their union. Wedding bashes in Bengaluru on November 21 and November 28 in Mumbai.
