As Rishi Kapoor turned 67 on 4 September, Bollywood showered him with love and wishes. From Madhuri Dixit to Suniel Shetty, everyone had something kind to say about the actor.

Madhuri wished him a “year of good health and happiness.”

Whereas Anupam Kher posted a playful video from their time in New York and wrote, “Happy birthday dearest ⁦@chintskap ⁩!! May God give you all the happiness in the world. May you always be healthy and free spirited. I have loved our time together in New York. And our yellow cab rides. You are our reel and real hero. Love and prayers always.”

Juhi Chawla mentioned meeting Rishi and Neetu in New York. Something a lot of celebs have been doing over the past one year.

Anil Kapoor penned a thoughtful message for the birthday boy. He wrote, “Happy Birthday, James @chintskap! You’ve always been like family to me, an elder brother and an actor I admire. I hope to see you working your magic on screen again & look forward to us working together as well! Sending you lots of love & light!”

Rishi, son of late showman Raj Kapoor, made his debut as a child artist in the 1970 film Mera Naam Joker. His first lead role as a hero was opposite Dimple Kapadia in Bobby.
He is known for his roles in Khel Khel Main, Kabhie Kabhie, Hum Kisise Kum Naheen, Karz, Prem Rog, Nagina, Chandni, Namastey London, Love Aaj Kal, Kapoor & Sons, D-Day.

He was last seen on screen in Mulk and he is currently undergoing medical treatment in New York.
