On 52nd Birthday Aamir Looks Forward to Working With Mr Bachchan

The ‘Dangal’ hero turns 52 and can’t wait to work with Amitabh Bachchan this year.

Aamir Khan celebrates his 52nd birthday with the media at his Mumbai residence. After his successful year at the box office with Dangal, Aamir has repeatedly given us some stellar performances. Now he is all set to work with Amitabh Bachchan in Thugs of Hindostan. Speaking on this the actor said:

I am really excited about working with Amit <i>ji</i>. I have been a fan of his all my life and I think someone of his stature brings a lot of experience and insight to the craft, which I am keen to learn from him. It will be an experience of a lifetime. The shooting begins in June and it is the only film I have signed as of now.&nbsp;

Aamir also said that he is not a birthday person and was fast asleep at midnight. Speaking of who he would be celebrating his special day with, Aamir revealed that Mahavir Phogat and family would be joining him along with his own friends and family.

On his birthday, the actor also took a moment to talk about something serious, nepotism in the film industry-

I think it’s a natural human emotion to try and help people you love or care for. I try my level best to not bring this emotion into my work, because I feel I have a responsibility towards my audiences. I don’t feel pressurised by the money clubs that exist in the industry. All my films have worked till now and I feel the journey is more important than the numbers.&nbsp;
