1. SRK, AbRam, Gauri Wish Fans on Diwali With Out Of The Box Selfie
On the occasion of Diwali on 27 October, Shah Rukh Khan took to social media to wish his fans. He posted a family photo, with his wife Gauri Khan and son AbRam. However, this family photo is not the usual kind. It’s a close up of all three of their foreheads with teeka on them. In the caption, SRK wishes his fans a happy Diwali and life. The caption reads, “ #HappyDiwali to everyone. May your lives be lit up and happy.”

2. Shabana Azmi Responds to Trolls Criticizing SRK’s Diwali Greeting
Shabana Azmi on Monday 28 October tweeted in defence of Shah Rukh Khan, who had allegedly been trolled for sporting a tilak in a Diwali photo he shared on Twitter on Sunday.
“Appalled to read that @iamsrk Diwali greeting invites wrath of rabid Islamists, gets called a “False Muslim” for sporting a tilak!”FUNDOS get a life! Islam is not so weak that it stands threatened by what is a beautiful Indian custom.Indias beauty is in her GangaJamuni tehzeeb” Shabana wrote on Twitter.

3. SRK, Malaika, Virat, Anushka at Bachchan’s Big Diwali Bash
On 27 October, to celebrate Diwali, Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan threw a big Diwali bash at his residence in Juhu in Mumbai. Naturally, the grand celebration came with a long guest list that included pretty much everyone from Bollywood and beyond. Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Anushka Sharma were some of the celebrities present. Malaika Arora arrived with her siser Amrita. Filmmakers like David Dhawan and Nandita Das were also present. The celebs were completely decked out and dazzling in their ethnic outfits.

Arjun Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor spent some down time with their extended family ahead of hitting uncle Anil Kapoor’s massive Diwali bash. 5. Kareena, Saif, Malaika Party With Karishma on Diwali
Karishma Kapoor hosted her annual Diwali party at her home and invited family and close friends for the celebrations. Sister Kareena Kapoor arrived in a black and green dotted lehenga, while Saif wore a blue kurta and bandhgala. Malaika Arora was also spotted in a gorgeous pleated black lehenga and stunning neckpiece. Malaika’s sister Amrita Arora, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemmu were also seen at Karishma’s home.
