Ekta Kapoor Welcomes Baby Boy Via Surrogacy
Balaji Telefilms powerhouse Ekta Kapoor turned mommy on 27 January. Mumbai Mirror reports that the producer welcomed a son who was born via surrogacy. The publication suggests that she will bring him home soon.
Ekta seems to be following in the footsteps of brother Tusshar who became parent to a son also born via a surrogate in 2017.

Sanya Malhotra Named Talent to Watch out for at Berlinale
Sanya Malhotra has been named by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the “5 talents to watch at the Berlinale”. The Badhaai Ho actor co-stars alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Ritesh Batra directorial Photograph which will be screened at the Berlin International Film Festival.
According to the publication, Sanya’s performance as a stranger who is convinced by a struggling photographer to pose as his fiancee may “be her chance to cross over internationally”.

'The Batman' To Premiere Without Ben Affleck
Warner Bros. has announced that stand-alone Batman film, titled The Batman, will release in theatres in 2021. However, Ben Affleck, who has featured in films such as Justice League and Batman v Superman, will not reprise his role as the caped crusader as the film will allegedly focus on a younger Batman.
The film will be directed by Matt Reeves, who took over from Affleck after he stepped down as director in 2017.

Priyanka Chopra's 'Isn't It Romantic' to Stream on Netflix
Romantic comedy Isn’t It Romantic will be available to Indian audiences on Netflix from 28 February post its theatrical release on 14 February. It stars Liam Hemsworth and Rebel Wilson in lead roles. Priyanka will reportedly play a yoga instructor in the film.
'Manikarnika' Crosses Rs 50 Crore Mark at the Box Office
Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has earned Rs 56.90 crore at the box office since its premiere on 25 January, says trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
The film appears to be doing well in certain circuits and not so well in others, he observed.

Director James Gunn is in talks to direct the sequel to Suicide Squad.
Gunn, who was fired from helming the third instalment in his Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, was already writing the script for the sequel which Warner Bros. has slotted for an August 2021 release, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Disney fired Gunn from his Marvel franchise in July after old tweets from 2008 and 2009 resurfaced in which he had made insensitive and controversial jokes.
Suicide Squad revolves around villainous characters like Deadshot, Harley Quinn, the Joker, Captain Boomerang and Killer Croc, who are forced into the service of the government in exchange for lighter sentences.

Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Sanju, which presented the highs and lows of actor Sanjay Dutt's life on the big screen, was the most discussed movie of 2018, beating Padmaavat and Raazi, reveals a report.
The joint report by UC Media Lab, Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Balaji Motion Pictures, sheds light on entertainment content trends and preferences on mobile phones for the year, analysing page views and integrated popularity index, read a statement.
Ranbir, on account of his movie release and personal life, was among the most discussed actors of the year, beating superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan. He shares the top spot with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.
Salman and Priyanka Chopra were also the most discussed celebrities.
Movies like Manmarziyaan, Badhaai Ho, AndhaDhun and Blackmail also got a thumbs up from the viewers.
