Warner Bros. has announced that stand-alone Batman film, titled The Batman, will hit theatres in 2021. However, Ben Affleck, who has featured in films such as Justice League and Batman v Superman, will not reprise his role as the caped crusader as the film will allegedly focus on a younger Batman.
And guess who wants to be cast as the lead? Nick Jonas! The singer commented on the news by suggesting his own name.

The film will be directed by Matt Reeves, who took over from Affleck after he stepped down as director in 2017. Affleck tweeted saying he was “excited for #TheBatman in Summer 2021 and to see Matt Reeves’ vision come to life”.
The makers are yet to zero in on another actor to play the Dark Knight.
