Mahesh Bhatt is all set to return to direction twenty years after the 1999 Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Manisha Koirala-starrer Kartoos was released. This time it is a sequel to his film Sadak, a hugely successful film during the ’90s. The new version will star Alia and Pooja Bhatt, alongside Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur. Preparations are in full swing and initial plan of recreating Mumbai in Romania has been cancelled, Mumbai Mirror reported. The shooting will now take place in Mumbai itself.
