Here’s a look at Bollywood movies releasing this Friday:

1. Simran

Director: Hansal Mehta
Star Cast: Kangana Ranaut, Soham Shah, Esha Tewari Pande, Aneesha Joshi

Simran revolves around Praful Patel, a Gujarati girl who, among other things, is a divorcee in the US with a weakness for theft and gambling. The story is loosely based on the life of an NRI in the United States, Sandeep Kaur who has been convicted of a few robberies. She was dubbed as the ‘Bombshell Bandit’ because of her glamorous get-ups and bomb threats.

2. Lucknow Central

Director: Ranjit Tiwari

Star Cast: Diana Penty, Gippy Grewal, Deepak Dobriyal, Ronit Roy, Rajesh Sharma

Revolving around Moradabad boy Kishan Mohan Girhotra, who dreams of his own music band but lands up in the dreaded Lucknow Central Jail, Lucknow Central promises some good music as well as gritty action. What will ‘kaidi no. 1821’ choose - music or freedom?

3. Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi

Director: Sanjay Chhel
Star Cast: Rishi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vir Das, Payal Ghosh and Prem Chopra

Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi is an upcoming Indian Hindi romantic comedy film which will have Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal sharing screen space for the first time in 20 years. While the story is nothing we haven’t seen before, it’s the unlikely cast that’s caught out interest.
