Team Dhadak celebrated the success of their film in Mumbai on Thursday night. The film, produced by Dharma Productions, featuring Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead made over Rs 50 crore at the box office in its first week. Dhadak got a mixed response from critics. While Dhadak was appreciated for being a sincere effort and competent as a stand alone film, it was also seen lacking the the realism and raw impact of the original, Sairat. However, the lead actors Ishaan and Janhvi got a positive buzz from both the audience and the critics.
