Irrfan to Begin Shoot for Shoojit Sircar’s Udham Singh Biopic

Irrfan Khan’s acting prowess stands unmatched in Bollywood today.

This is great news for Irrfan Khan fans. The actor, who has been undergoing treatment for NeuroEndocrine tumour in the UK, is reportedly on the road to recovery and will be back to work soon.

According to Mumbai Mirror, Irrfan had loved the script and given his nod to Shoojit Sircar’s Udham Singh biopic nearly a year back. But now, he is at last ready to start shooting with Sircar for the film. He would then reportedly begin signing other projects as well.

Sircar, who directed Irrfan in Piku, is of course excited.

I think now the focus is that the entire film fraternity is waiting for him to come back and restart. Irrfan is one of our finest artists and I want him to come back fully recovered and relive all his dreams. Meanwhile, I am completely ready with my prep for the film.
