Excited to Play Abhinav Bindra in Biopic: Harshvardhan Kapoor
“Beginnings are more special when you get to play a character that has made the nation proud,” says Harshvardhan.
Harshvardhan Kapoor, who will be playing Abhinav Bindra in a biopic, took to Instagram to share a photo with the Olympic-winning shooter.
Talking about his upcoming film, a source told Mid-day, "The biopic is a big responsibility because of the subject matter. It is the most mammoth responsibility I've ever shouldered. Harsh also visited the Navi Mumbai shooting range to meet Abhinav's coach. He even checked out the rifles in an attempt to get a feel of the whole thing".
According to earlier reports, Anil Kapoor might be seen playing his on-screen father in the forthcoming biopic on the Indian professional shooter.
When asked about it, Anil had told reporters at an event, "It's too early to speak about the film. Once everything is finalised, I'll talk about it. But talks are on. If God wishes, we will do a film together and it could be this one. I am very excited to work with him, but it is too early to speak about it."
