Several Bollywood stars took to social media to share special messages and photos on the occasion of Mother’s Day.

While Jacqueline Fernandez said that she was missing her mother (who is in Sri Lanka) on this special day, Janhvi Kapoor, who lost her mother Sridevi in February 2018, shared a throwback picture of the two, and asked everyone to value their mothers and give them a lot of love.

2. Deepika Padukone Meets Rishi and Neetu Kapoor in New York

Deepika Padukone, who was in New York to attend the MET Gala 2019, paid a visit to Rishi Kapoor during her visit.

The 66-year-old actor has been undergoing treatment for cancer in New York since September last year.

Neetu Kapoor shared images from the visit on her Instagram account. “Such a fun evening with adorable @deepikapadukone .. gave lot of love n warmth,” she wrote in her post.

Deepika had been close to Rishi and Neetu when she was dating their son Rishi Kapoor, before their breakup in 2009.

3. Why Jacqueline Fernandez Took Up an Acting Course in LA

Jacqueline Fernandez took acting lessons from Ivana Chubbuck.

Jacqueline Fernandez, who recently signed on to play the lead in the Netflix show, Mrs Serial Killer, opened up about taking up an acting course last year, and once again before beginning work on the new show.

In an interview with Film Companion’s Anupama Chopra, Jacqueline said that she decided to take up training with Ivana Chubbuck, a renowned teacher based in Los Angeles as she wanted to work on her craft.

“Last year, surprisingly I had two months off. Something that has always intimidated me was acting lessons. And I have been in front of the camera for like 10 years and 20 films, but it was a huge fear,” she said.

4. ‘Mental Hai Kya’ Release Not in My Hands: Rajkummar Rao

Rajkummar Rao stars in Mental Hai Kya with Kangana Ranaut. 

Rajkummar Rao, who will next be seen in Ekta Kapoor's Mental Hai Kya, also starring Kangana Ranaut, spoke about the controversy around the film’s release date, on the sidelines of the shoot for an anti-air pollution song Hawa Aane De, on Saturday.

The film will release on 26 July, and it was going to clash with Hrithik Roshan-starrer Super 30. But Hrithik urged his producers to change his movie's release date to avoid a 'media circus' due to his public feud with Kangana.

"The decision of releasing the film is not in my hand as it is in the makers’ hands, so they have decided release date of the film,” Rajkummar said in an interview to IANS.

5. Amitabh Bachchan Reveals His Look in ‘Chehre’

Amitabh Bachchan is currently shooting for the film Chehre, alongside Emraan Hashmi, in Mumbai, and the actor took to social media to share some pictures from the sets of the film.

The pictures offer us the first glimpse at Bachchan’s look in the film.

“Another meter down .. started new film with Rumi Jafry .. “CHEHRE” .. a long standing commitment, now fructifying,” Bachchan wrote.

In the pictures shared on Twitter, Bachchan is seen sporting a long white beard, tied in a ponytail. He is also donning a green woolen cap, scarf and glasses.
