1. Varun, Sriram Raghavan Reunite for Film on War Hero Arun Khetarpal

After the massive success of Andhadhun, Sriram Raghavan is already preparing for his next project. He is reuniting with Varun Dhawan after Badlapur for a biopic on late Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. The film will be produced by Dinesh Vijan. Khetarpal was the youngest soldier to win the Param Vir Chakra at the age of 21 for his service during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.

Speaking to The Quint, Raghavan had earlier said that the story had a Clint Eastwood feel to it.

2. After ‘Kabir Singh’ Shahid to Star in Remake of Telugu ‘Jersey’

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, who is on a roll with the success of this year’s Kabir Singh, has bagged the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit Jersey. The Hindi version will be directed by Gowtham Tinnanauri, who also helmed the original movie.

The Telugu version of Jersey revolves around the protagonist named Arjun (played by Nani) a talented but failed cricketer, decides to return to cricket in his late thirties driven by the desire to represent the Indian cricket team and fulfil his son's wish for a jersey as a gift.

3. K-Pop Star Sulli Found Dead at Her Residence in South Korea

25-year-old K-pop star found dead in South Korea.

Sulli, a 25-year-old K-pop star, was found dead at her residence near Seoul, South Korea, said the police on Monday. She was discovered by her manager who found her dead at her residence. The police have told the BBC that they are still investigating the cause of her death.

4. Pay Me as Much as Akshay: Kareena on Pay Disparity in Bollywood

At an appearance at the Jio MAMI Movie Mela 2019, Kareena Kapoor said that she has never walked out of a film due to pay disparity but hopes to get paid as much as her male co-stars. The actor was in conversation with Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt. When asked if she has ever walked out of a film because she was getting paid less, the actor said, “There were probably different reasons of walking out of films, but not because of this particular reason. I'd love to get paid as much as my male co-stars though.”

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan met up with Hollywood superstars Jackie Chan, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Jason Momoa at an industry event in Saudi Arabia on Sunday 14 October and the pictures are breaking the internet!

First off, Shah Rukh posted a selfie with veteran action stars Jackie and Jean-Claude, or JCVD as he is popularly known, on Instagram where he called them his heroes. “Khan, Damme, Chan at the #JoyForum19. The joys all mine as I got to meet my heroes,” he wrote.
