'Deva': Shahid Kapoor Unveils His First Look; Announces Film's Release Date

'Deva' starring Shahid Kapoor will hit the big screens on Dussehra, next year.

Shahid Kapoor unveiled his first look from his upcoming film, Deva, on 24 October. The film is helmed by Rosshan Andrrews, who is known for directing several Malayalam blockbusters like Kayamkulam Kochunni and Salute.

Taking to social media, the Kabir Singh actor shared a picture of himself where he can be seen sporting short hair and a bearded look with a pistol in his hand.

Shahid captioned the post on Instagram, "DEVA in theatres on Dussehra 11th October 2024. #HappyDussehra"

Deva also stars Pooja Hegde in the lead. The film is backed by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films.

According to the makers, Deva follows a brilliant yet rebellious police officer investigating a high-profile case. As he delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a web of deceit and betrayal, leading him down a thrilling and dangerous path.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shahid was last seen in Bloody Daddy.
