Deepika Padukone’s Schoolgirl Avatar in ‘Chhapaak’ Leaked

The actress recently shot for the film in New Delhi.

Deepika Padukone has just returned to Mumbai after shooting for Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak, a film based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, in New Delhi.

Since Deepika is shooting many scenes on the streets of the city, several pictures have leaked from the sets in the last couple of weeks. The makers weren’t worried about it as they had released Deepika’s look in the film as soon as the film went on the floors.

But now a new video of the actress has been leaked from the sets, which gives us a glimpse at Deepika’s look as a young girl.

In the video that has emerged on social media, the actress is seen donning a school uniform.

On 26 March, Deepika took to Twitter to share the first look of her character from the film. “A character that will stay with me forever...#Malti," the actor wrote.

Laxmi was attacked in 2005 at age 15, by a 32-year-old man Gudda and his alias Nadeem Syed whose advances she had rejected.

Chhapaak is slated to release on 10 January, 2020.
