‘Dream Girl’ Beats ‘Badhaai Ho’, Is Ayushmann’s Highest Earner

Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl has surpassed the lifetime business of his 2018 hit Badhaai Ho (Rs 134.46 crore) at the box office to become the highest earner of his career so far. The film has collected Rs 139.70 crore in five weeks after its release on 13 September.

Dream Girl is Ayushmann’s biggest opener till date, having earned Rs 10.05 crore on day 1. Badhaai Ho and Article 15 made Rs 7.35 crore and Rs 5.02 crore on their opening day at the box office, respectively.

Among Ayushmann’s film, Dream Girl has also registered the highest opening weekend business at Rs 44.57 crore. Badhaai Ho collected Rs 45.70 crore and Article 15 made Rs 20.04 crore on their first weekends.

Dream Girl earned Rs 50 crore by day 4 and crossed Rs 100 crore in 11 days.

His talent for impersonating women comes in handy and he soon becomes highly sought after by caller whom he enamours as the silken-voiced Puja. The film also stars Nushrat Bharucha, Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh and Nidhi Bisht.
