Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s Next to Be Based on Narayana & Sudha Murthy

After giving hits like Nil Battey Sannata and Bareilly Ki Barfi, director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari had been shooting for her third film, Panga starring Kangana Ranaut. According to reports, the director has now already finalised on her fourth film and has started planning it.

Her next will be based on the lives of Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy and his wife Sudha Murthy, who is also an author and a philanthropist. It will be jointly produced by Mahaveer Jain, Ashwiny and her filmmaker-husband Nitesh Tiwari. According to the reports, the idea came from writer-director Sanjay Tripathy, and Ashwiny has started researching on the IT couple. The scripting for the same will begin soon, once all the research and fact checking is done.

Narayana Murthy co-founded Infosys in 1981. A global leader in technology services and employer of 70,000 people globally, Infosys has $3billion in revenues and was the first Indian company to be listed on the America stock exchange in 1999. He has been appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE). He is also a recipient of the Padma Vibhushan, and Legion of Honour, the highest French order of merit.

Director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari has just wrapped up Panga with Kangana Ranaut, where Kangana will be seen playing a national-level kabaddi player with Jassie Gill playing her husband. She had been undergoing extensive training for the role. The film also stars Neena Gupta and is slated for a 2019 release.
