It has been announced that Telugu blockbuster film Arjun Reddy will be remade in Hindi under the title Kabir Singh. The film will star Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. It will be directed by Sandeep Vanga, who also directed the original, and will be produced by T-Series and Cine1 Studios.

Shooting has commenced, and will reportedly take place in Mumbai, Delhi and Mussoorie. Kapoor will be seen sporting four different looks over the course of the film.

In a statement director Sandeep Vanga said, “When we started work on the Hindi script, it was a very exciting journey. Kabir Singh, as the protagonist’s name, came naturally, considering the character’s graph. It has the same punch and madness of Arjun Reddy.”
