Speaking at a press conference on Friday, actor Annu Kapoor put forward his thoughts on the Tanushree Dutta - Nana Patekar controversy. After stating that he would not tolerate any disrespect or ill-treatment of any woman, Annu Kapoor added that any allegation made by anyone needs to be backed by proof. Annu Kapoor also says that Tanushree should have filed a complaint with the Mumbai police when the incident happened.

The actor said that entire Tanushree - Nana Patekar controversy should not be a media trial and needs to be properly handled by the police and courts.
