Just after facing a fatwa for composing the soundtrack of Majid Majidi’s film Muhammad: The Messenger of God, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Wednesday appealed to AR Rahman to reconvert to Hinduism.

While Rahman has already given a brilliant and touching response to the Raza Academy’s fatwa, he hasn’t replied to the VHP’s call for a ‘ghar-wapsi’ yet, and he just might not. After all when is the man going to make music if he keeps responding to every absurdity thrown at him?

So we took the liberty of responding on behalf of the ‘Mozart of Madras’ through his songs. Yes, we just let his work speak for him.
