The actor tweeted saying that his parents were married for 59 years and the way his mother describes their love story is truly endearing.

She talks fondly about everything he did for her, but curiously, he never took her advice about investing in property or saving money. An amused Anupam Kher can be heard off-screen agreeing with his father’s philosophy.

He was the nicest man in the world. The only thing was he never listened to me about things like money. Whenever I told him to invest in real estate, make a big house, or anything of the sort, he wouldn’t listen. He liked spending money on family and friends. For him, as long as his kids and family were happy, he was happy.
