As polling in the seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections concludes on Sunday, 19 May, exit poll numbers could provide insights into what the results might be on 23 May – the counting day.
The Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance is up against the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance. The Samajwadi Party-Bahujan Samaj Party (SP-BSP) alliance is expected to play a key role in government formation, along with a host of regional parties including YSRCP, BJP, TRS, and DMK, among others.
The coalition or party that wins more than 271 seats will form the 17th Lok Sabha.
