പ്രണയമുണ്ട് ഒരുപ്പാട്.
ആദ്യമായി മൊഴിഞ്ഞ
രണ്ടക്ഷരങ്ങളോട്,
അമിഞ്ഞപ്പാലിൽ കുതിർന്ന
താരാട്ടുപാട്ടുകളോട്,
മയിൽപ്പീലി മറച്ചുവെച്ച
മലയാളം പുസ്തകത്തോട്,
വഴി വെട്ടി തന്ന കക്കാടിന്റെ
കവിതകളോട്,
പിരിയും നേരം അവൾ
കൈയിൽ തിരുകിയ രമണനോട്,
പറക്കാൻ പഠിപ്പിച്ച ആ കാട്ടു പക്ഷിയോട്,
ഒടുവിലായി എരിഞ്ഞു തീരുന്ന നല്ലെഴുത്തിൽ ആത്മാക്കളോട് .
