The bikes were huge, chunky, muscular and yet subtle with their lines. But it wasn’t every bike that appealed to crowd that showed up at the event, there were a lot of duds as well (we are looking at you Navi).

Just in case you missed them, we have put together a list of the best bikes that were on display at the Expo. Being unable to choose a favourite, the list is in no particular order.

If there’s one thing we did not expect to see from the stable of TVS this year, it was the concept of a ‘superbike that means business’. The TVS Akula 310 is the end product designed and created by TVS in association with BMW.

The name Akula has been inspired by the Akula-grade submarines which, in Russian, means shark. It is safe to say that the Akula 310 is a justifiable name as it sure looks like a predator.

Although the BMW G310 R has not been launched, and neither has there been any announcement about the future of this product, the bike still managed to be a crowd pleaser due to the way it looks.

At first glance you’ll immediately notice the short-wheel base and naked bike character which gives it a very agile and dynamic look. It has a very evident visual kinship with the BMW S 1000 R.
