In what will add to the growing troubles of the Republican Presidential nominee, two women accused Donald Trump of inappropriately touching them, reported The New York Times on Wednesday.
Trump’s PR team has refuted these claims as his spokesperson labelled these accusations as "fiction". However, to many who are already unsure of Trump, these allegations which come on the back of surfacing of the “locker room” tapes, may cause significant damage to the Republican Presidential nominee's campaign with only four weeks to go until the 8 November elections.
Trump Was Like An Octopus, His Hands Were Everywhere
Speaking to The New York Times, one of the victims, Jessica Leeds recounts the horror of how Donald Trump had allegedly sexually assaulted her on a flight to New York sometime in the 1980’s.
Recounting the trauma, Jessica explains how these memories which she suppressed for years came gushing out after Trump’s comments during the second presidential debate.
Faced with questions over his lewd comments from 2005, Trump had asserted that his words from that unfortunate day in 2005 were nothing more than brash locker-room talk, but Jessica’s allegations raises serious questions on Trump’s innocent explanation of the situation.
She recalls that about 45 minutes after take-off, Donald Trump lifted the armrest and started touching her inappropriately.
Trump grabbed my breasts and tried to put his hand up my skirt. He was like an octopus. His hands were everywhere... It was an assault.
Trump Made Me Feel Insignificant: Rachel Crooks
The second woman, Rachel Crooks, described how Trump "kissed me directly on the mouth" in 2005 outside the elevator in Trump Tower in Manhattan, where she was a receptionist at a real estate firm.
They shook hands, but Mr. Trump would not let go, she said. Instead, he began kissing her cheeks. Then, she said, he “kissed me directly on the mouth... It didn’t feel like an accident, she said. It felt like a violation.
Rachel added that Trump’s actions made her feel “insignificant.”
These allegations come on the back of another story by CNN from Wednesday, where it emerged Trump used to waltz into changing rooms of contestants of beauty pageants while they changed.
Tasha Dixon, Miss Arizona in 2001, told CBS 2 Los Angeles that Trump just came “waltzing in” while contestants were nude or half-nude as they changed into bikinis.
She described her experience in the dressing room in the Miss USA pageant 2001:
He just came strolling right in. There was no second to put a robe on or any sort of clothing or anything. Some girls were topless. Others girls were naked.
'Absolutely False Claims': Trump
However Donald Trump on Thursday angrily denied several accusations of groping in a growing controversy over inappropriate behaviour with women that is damaging the Republican presidential candidate's chances of winning the election.
Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, the New York Times and other media were engaged in a concerted, "vicious" attempt to stop him, Trump told a rally in West Palm Beach, Florida.
These claims are all fabricated. They’re pure fiction and they’re outright lies. These events never, ever happened. I would make public at some point evidence to dispute the claims.
