Father’s Day is around the corner and cricketer Suresh Raina has surely upped the ante for all other dads. Whether it’s being a fully involved, hands-on parent or deciding to break the beard for his daughter, he is giving everyone major fatherhood goals. Don’t believe us? Well, here goes: Raina’s little one didn’t seem to have taken a liking to his facial fuzz. So daddy dearest decided to give it up for a cleaner look.
Ever since he became a father last year, it’s been quite evident that his world revolves around his daughter Gracia and his recent gesture is proof enough. In fact, he often takes to social media to give us glimpses of her, and well, we can’t stop admiring this dad-daughter relationship.
It all started with her birth. A clearly overjoyed Raina took to social media to announce that he had become a proud father to a beautiful baby girl.
It’s quite apparent that Raina is a hands-on dad who more than enjoys being involved with every little aspect of his daughter’s life. In fact, he and his wife have announced the launch of a foundation named after their daughter, called the Gracia Raina Foundation, that works with underprivileged mothers across the country.
Little Gracia already seems to be a cricket fan. During her first outing to a cricket match, she seemed to be quiet enjoying daddy’s ‘clean’ look. It was an IPL match between Raina’s team the Gujarat Lions and the Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gracia was there to support her dad.
She recently turned one and papa Raina couldn’t stop himself from sharing this ‘Pretty in pink’ picture with us! Isn’t she the cutest?
Raina is obviously a doting dad and there’s no doubt about that. From giving swimming lessons to his little one to taking her along for cricket matches, he makes sure he doesn’t miss out on her growing up years. Now this is something all new dads must learn from. Meanwhile, we hope to see much more of him and his daughter in the years to come.
