After thrashing Columbian wrestler Carolina Castillo in the 48kg category of the Pro Wrestling League league match on Friday, a jubilant Ritu Phogat got candid with The Quint about her win, her likes and dislikes.
The young and dynamic Ritu spoke to us about Mahavir Phogat’s dream of an Olympic medal and her competition with cousin sister Vinesh. She also told us a few of the Phogat family’s secrets.

The 22-year-old Phogat sister has surpassed her elder siblings – Geeta and Babita – to emerge the most expensive female Indian wrestler in the ongoing edition of the PWL.
Ritu has won gold in the Commonwealth Championship and Senior Nationals in 2016.
