Boards are tough. Trust us, we know! But we got some previous high scorers to decode the mystery behind scoring those outrageously good marks in the examinations.
Sanchi Kathpalia was among the top 10 CBSE rank holders in 2014. In her 12th standard exams, she scored the highest marks in economics, mathematics, business studies and accountancy. Her advice: visit the CBSE website as it contains answer sheets of the previous years’ toppers.
Aditya Grover, the CBSE class XII science stream topper from Delhi in 2011, who currently studies at Stanford, shares another valuable tip: solve a lot of sample papers.
Mansha Sachdev scored 96% in the Non Medical, and is now pursuing Maths Honours from LSR. She says, “Don’t hyperventilate when you see a difficult question.”
And lastly, as Sanchi Kathpalia says, “Maintain a balance between good pressure and bad pressure”. While good pressure can encourage you to push yourself harder, bad pressure will only bog you down.
All the best for your exams!
